When: Thursday, February 13, 2014 @ 5:00-6:30
Hosted by the Law Society and Careers Centre, this presentation is intended to provide information on obtaining internships that are not restricted to vacation schemes.
Speaking will be Paul Brown, who will give an overview of the services the Careers Centre can provide and opportunities regarding internships.
To follow students from the Law Society Committee and university will discuss their recent internships, covering both the UK and US. Unlike the standard vacation scheme, there are many other opportunities and these students are willing to share how to obtain such an internship, how they benefitted, if they would have done anything differently, and will be able to answer all of your questions.
If you're struggling to find experience not being a third-year able to apply for vacation schemes, or are looking for other opportunities that will allow you to prepare for the law, then be sure to come along and hear their advice.
