Summer Vacation Scheme – Corporate
Firm: MJ Hudson
MJ Hudson is a boutique law firm that focuses on alternative assets. We are a small but rapidly growing firm with an ambitious international growth strategy.
We offer clients a ground-breaking range of billing arrangements, including fixed fee or shared upside arrangements, as opposed to the legal industry's standard of hourly billing.
This, alongside the technical ability and depth of experience that you would expect from the world's largest law firms and distinctively, a flexible, creative and more industry specific service, puts us in a unique position in the legal market.
Role: Summer Vacation Scheme (4 weeks)
Every summer the Firm runs vacation schemes to give aspiring lawyers an idea of the type of work that we do and what it means to be a lawyer in our industry. We are looking for highly intelligent, driven people who have a real interest in the Firm’s specialisms and want to be challenged with complex work in a fast-paced environment.
As a vacation scheme student, you will be given chances to get involved in real client matters in the Corporate, Funds and M&A departments to get a genuine flavour of the life of an MJ Hudson lawyer. You will work with experienced lawyers and also have fantastic opportunities for networking and socialising.
By the end of the scheme, you should have a good idea of whether a career as a lawyer in the alternative assets sector is for you – and whether that career might start at MJ Hudson.
In 2014, we will run two, four-week vacation schemes on the following dates:
16 June 2014 – 11 July 2014
21 July 2014 – 15 August 2014
Applications for these vacation schemes open on 1 January 2014 and close on 31 March 2014.
